NEW-WORLD PORT VERTICAL TASTING AT ANNABELLS February 9, 2012 5:30-6:30
Join Winemaker Paul Bush as he takes you through a tasting of our 2000, 2002, 2005, 2008 New-World Ports. Discover the fruitness, the complexities, and ageworthiness of Port. Vertical Tasting includes a flight of pours and chocolates from Annabells. Tickets are $10/person or $15/couple.
ANNUAL QUINTET BLENDING EVENT (Club Member Only) February 11th and 12th New Session Added – February 11th – 11-2.
This is your chance to “Be the Winemaker”. Enjoy a fun and education event as Paul leads you through the winemaking challenges of our Quintet. Taste past vintages and learn the percentages of the wine’s make-up. Then taste each of the 5 components (Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Malbec) in it’s 100% pure form straight from the barrel. And then for the fun – you are the winemaker. See how adding 5% Malbec will change the Cabernet Sauvignon characters, or maybe find out that adding 50% Petit Verdot will make the wine black and inky. As your final task, if you so choose, blend your own Quintet. Limited to 4 tickets per membership.
